Gli Europei di calcio e il derby britannico hanno fatto il botto di ascolti all'inizio del penultimo weekend del mese di giugno. Nella serata di venerdì 18 giugno 2021, su Rai1 Inghilterra-Scozia ha tenuto davanti al video 4.940.000 spettatori pari al 24.3% di share, mentre pre e post gara hanno raccolto 3.169.000 spettatori (16.8%). Insomma, c'era curiosità. Del resto il derby britannico non è stato esaltante in campo, ma sugli spalti lo spettacolo è stato senza dubbio divertente, soprattutto per merito dei rumorosissimi sostenitori scozzesi presenti a Wembley.

In scia, gli altri prodotti tv: su Canale5 "Mamma mia! Ci risiamo" ha ottenuto soltanto 1.518.000 spettatori con uno share dell’8.3%. Su Rai2 Tra due madri ha interessato 1.583.000 spettatori (8%). Ha retto il confronto solo Quarto Grado su Rete4, che ha totalizzato un ascolto medio di 1.663.000 spettatori (10.9%).
